Stats

Stats are how you determine your characters physical and mental abilities.

Each stat starts at 10, which as average & doesn't provide any benefits or penalties. For every 2 above or below 10 you are 1 deviation above or below average.

In Pathfinder Society you have 20 stat points to use to buy better stats. You can choose to take penalties to any stat to gain more points to buy better scores.
Be sure to spend all your stat points before moving on to the next step!

STRENGTH

Strength determins how well you're able to use a weapon & how hard you'll hit with weapons.

Strength also improves how well you are able to climb and swim.

DEXTERITY

Dexterity measures agility, reflexes, and balance. It's useful for characters who wear light or medium armor or no armor at all. This ability is vital for characters seeking to excel with ranged weapons, such as the bow or sling.

Dexterity also improves your skill at Acrobatics, Disable Device, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth checks.

CONSTITUTION

Constitution represents your character's health and stamina. A Constitution bonus increases a character's hit points, so the ability is important for all classes.

Constitution does not affect any skills.

Intelligence

INTELLIGENCE

Intelligence determines how many skills you know and how well your character learns and reasons. This ability is important for wizards because it affects their spellcasting.

Intelligence also improves your Appraise, Craft, all Knowledges, Linguistics, and Spellcraft checks.

WIS
Wisdom

WISDOM

Wisdom describes a character's willpower, common sense, awareness, and intuition. Wisdom is an important casting ability for clerics, druids and (to a lesser extent) rangers. It is also important for monks.

Wisdom also improves your Heal, Perception, Profession, Sense Motive, and Survival checks.

Charisma

CHARISMA

Charisma measures a character's personality, personal magnetism, ability to lead, and appearance. It is the most important ability for sorcerers, bards, and paladins. It is also important for clerics because it affects how many times they can use some of their abilities.

Charisma also improves your Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, Handle Animal, Intimidate, Perform, and Use Magic Device checks.

As a Elf you will have a racial bonus of +2 Dexterity & Intilligence and a -2 Constitution applied when you finish creating your stats.
